A quick and satisfying morning smoothie, reminiscent of a laasi – an Indian drink made from yogurt and mangoes. I call for a coconut flavored dairy yogurt, but a coconut milk-based yogurt is a fine substitution if you prefer to go dairy free.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 6oz containers of coconut flavored yogurt
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen mango, cubed about 1 large mango
  • 1 pinch ground cardamom
  • a handful of ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until totally smooth, about 2 minutes, scraping down the sides if needed. Pour into two glasses.
