Onion Jam & Goat Cheese Flatbreads

A simple, yet delicious appetizer is a few ingredients away. Purchased naan bread, a jar of onion jam, and goat cheese are all you need for this speedy snack. I like to top them with toasted pine nuts and a drizzle of balsamic syrup, but skip the garnish if you’re feeling minimalist.

Ingredients

  • 4 purchased Naan breads
  • 12 ounce jar sweet onion jam
  • 6-8 ounces goat cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325 F. Place the four flatbreads on two baking sheets. Top each with about ¼ of the onion jam, spreading it out evenly with a spoon.
  • If your goat cheese is very creamy, break off pieces and distribute it evenly over the bread. If it is drier, crumble it to evenly distribute.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until warmed through. Remove from the oven and cut each bread into 6 pieces. Sprinkle with the pine nuts and drizzle with the balsamic syrup. Serve warm.
