Strawberry Paloma Mocktail

3 Strawberry Paloma Mocktails in a double-old fashioned glass with grapefruit half and strawberries in background
Prep Time 5 minutes
If you are not familiar with the cocktail known as a Paloma, you can think of it like a version of a margarita made with grapefruit juice or soda. It’s tart and refreshing. This non-alcoholic version adds strawberries for sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grapefruit juice
  • juice of 1 large lime
  • 1 cup strawberries, stems removed
  • 5 tablespoons agave nectar

Instructions

  • Puree the strawberries in a blender or mini food processor along with the agave nectar. Pour the puree into a mesh strainer set over a bowl and press on the solids to extract all of the liquid you can. Add the grapefruit and lime juices to the strawberry juice in the bowl and stir well to combine. Taste for sweetness. You may want to add more agave nectar depending on the sweetness of the strawberries, and your preference for how sweet you like drinks.
  • Pour the juice mixture into four glasses filled with ice. I like to top the drinks with a little fizzy water, but it will dilute the flavors a bit. Taste the drink and serve according to your preference.
